After 2 months of dormancy, I’m back on my blog! Yay! Releasing of grades today and the MyUste ain’t cooperating with the people of UST. Well, I’ve got a message for those who are logged in their MyUste:
Dear MyUste viewers,
kindly log out of MyUste and whine about your grades offline so that the others can view their grades. Constant refreshing of the MyUste page won’t change your grades. Sincerely, the other half of the Thomasian community who weren’t able to view their grades yet

I’m so glad that I am still in the Dean’s List :> A semester of pure hard work has finally paid off :>

Day 199: August 8, 2011 “Tea time!”
I’ve been trying the bestsellers of different popular Milk Tea shops in the city, but all of those tasted like tap water after I got to taste this awesome find at Gong Cha, the Gong Cha Wintermelon Milk Tea :”>
Translated(by google) and quoted from the Gong Cha website, the Wintermelon tea is:
“Green tea, black tea, oolong tea or as the end of Youth, the top and then topped with milk labeled Lin Feng Ying of foam, very tasty, the store is currently selling our first product. 2. Tribute to how to drink tea? 1 to open the lid to the mouth on the cup, and tea at the same time to slide into the mouth of foam 2 into the straw, tea tasting flavor 3 Stir drink, tea and milk to blend the perfect multi-level taste”
I didn’t understand a thing on that translated quote but I sure do agree to that “PERFECT MULTI-LEVEL TASTE” part haha.

Day 198: August 7, 2011 “Yes we hate late”
Usual birthday’s eve tradition scenario in the Mendoza household, everyone’s excited to break out that jolly “Happy Birthday” song to our dad when the clock strikes 12. But life is a bitch, the mood quickly switched from jolly to angry when the expected delivery from P***a H*t arrived almost an hour late. Nevertheless, we got the order for free because of the hassle and delay they have caused. In the end, the customer always wins >:))

Day 197: August 6, 2011 “Engraved”
Got home at around 2am in the morning after another awesome impromptu night out with the gang at the Belagio Square Ermita, then when I was about to unpack my bag, I saw a small white box that says “God bless! Keep in touch! :) -OSS Team” and inside was a pen with my name engraved on it. :”>

They’ve been my family for the past 2 months of my stay in PLDT. I don’t want to get emotional on my post here haha. I’ll miss them, nuff said :’)

Day 195: August 4, 2011 “Time Pressured”
I admit that I am a professional procrastinator and a certified crammer. This project was given to us 2-weeks ago, but since we’re (my groupmates and I) are being d-bags who do not care about school project submissions, we procrastinated and procrastinated and procrastinated and did the whole Thesis-like research and system proposal development ‘overnight’ haha.
Output: 60+ page system proposal paper.
Sleep: Next to none
Nutrition: Ate breakfast at 11am, Lunch at 4pm
Mood: Irritable, Exhausted, Sleepy, Numb

Day 194: August 3, 2011 “Why I’ll miss OJT: PLDT RCB”
More specifically, the OSS Lab where wearing a long sleeve polo and 2-layers of jacket ain’t enough to cope up with the temperature haha.

Day 193: August 2, 2011 “Why I’ll miss OJT: Food!!!”
Lunch time is always the most exciting part of the day especially when Greenbelt/s, Landmark, Glorietta/s, SM and the Ayala Triangle are just a few blocks away from your office. The problem is, I am not able to save some of my allowance by the end of the day because of all of these good stuff begging to be eaten :))

Day 192: August 1, 2011 “Why I’ll miss OJT: Everyday I’m Shufflin’”
I see almost a million of these signs everyday as I walk to the office from MRT Ayala station. It’s funny how the Everyday I’m Shufflin’ icon of LMFAO has the similarity to this pedestrian crossing sign. Walking a mile everyday in the business district is much less tiring than half a kilometer walk in QC.  New month, another week to seize, but it’s the last week of my internship at PLDT :(
